If you want to get found online by your ideal customers or clients, you need to know the network marketing keywords that will attract new visitors to your website.

As a network marketer it is important to always keep your pipeline filled with prospects and the only way to make that happen is to constantly find new leads.

However, in the game of prospecting you can either be the hunter or the hunted.  And if you’re anything like me you’d rather be hunted than the other way around.

The number one way to become the hunted is to be found by the search engines and the best way to do that through keyword research and analysis.  The goal of your research is to find the network marketing keywords that you can use and optimize to attract website visitors.

So What Are the Network Marketing Keywords That You Should Know?

The straight answer to this question is that the network marketing keywords that you need to know are the ones that have low competition and do not have a lot of search results.  And if you think that there is a shortage of network marketing keywords, think again.  You would not believe the things that network marketers are searching for, if they want to increase their results and sales, for this having the right sale force is also important, and using a Salesforce recruiting service could be really helpful to get the right sellers for your team.

  • Hashtags – When you post on social media, make sure to use keywords as your hashtags so you can be found.

When people first here about the industry they’re curious. But sometimes they’re afraid to ask their questions, especially in front of a crowd of people.  This is why I have laid out the answers to some of the most common questions that people have about the industry.

What is Network Marketing?

Network marketing is the perfect industry for someone seeking a part-time or home-based business.  Some of the most well-known companies in America are under the network marketing umbrella (e.g. Mary Kay Cosmetics, Avon and Tupperware).

Does it cost to participate in the industry?

Most programs require a low upfront investment which is mainly used for the purchase of sample kit as well as the opportunity to sell a product line directly to family members, friend, co-workers as well as other contacts.


Do you have to recruit other people in network marketing?

How to Become Successful in Network Marketing

Have you ever wondered how to become successful in network marketing? Well, you can start by walking the walk. In other words, never ask your team to do something that you have never done. You must lead from the front and not beat from the back. People like to follow documented leaders. Your team members want to follow someone who has paved the way and made a difference. They don’t want to be bullied and harassed. They want to be motivated and encouraged.

Have a business owners’ mindset from the start, is how to become successful in network marketing

Build a business and not a downline. Network marketers tend to rely too much on the company to supply you with everything you need, and using services from a cloud computing company could really help you running your business more smoothly. Therefore, you need to think like a business owner from the start. Run your own team contests and promos. You don’t have to give-a-way a lot, but products and business tools are a great place to start when running team contests.

Follow the startup system

Most companies have systems in place for newbies to get started. And the truth of the matter is that you must start each month like a newbie. This is because every month each person starts off in the same place. At zero, with no recruits and no sales. Following the startup system and getting good at it is the perfect way to achieve success.


Master the compensation plan

Would you start a new job with knowing the job description? Well, the compensation plan shows you exactly what you need to qualify for the next position. No one wants to work each month to stay in the same place. Folks don’t even want to do this one a job. So why would they want to do it in network marketing. Learn the compensation plan inside and out. It is your guaranteed ticket to freedom and it will teach what you need to do each day to get to the top.

Recruit

If you want the loot you must recruit. Recruiting is essential for your success. And you’re not looking for everyone. You’re looking for that one diamond in the haystack that wants to become a true business builder. You must have a fine balance between recruiting wide and helping your organization build depth. Both things are important to achieve lifetime leverage. Selling a lot brings in short money, but teaching others how to sell with get you paid for life.

Invest. Learn and Teach.

Your team will look to you as a leader, but you will not know everything. Therefore, it is important to invest in your own education. You must then implement the things you learn to test your knowledge. Once you’ve achieved documented success, then you can teach your team members how to do the same, I like to presents my documents in a PDF app called Sodapdf that’ s how I carry everything in order. This is one situation where you want to teach everything you know so your team can grow.


Build Team Camaraderie

Building a team is work. Keeping a team is even more work. I encourage you to host team building events and socials. The team that plays together often stays together. Take your team bowling, skating, or out for drinks. Don’t make everything about the business, but make it about family. This way you can find out their goals and meet their loved ones. These things are important.

Refrain from being negative

Always wear your positive hat.  Avoid being negative at all costs. Don’t bad mouth your company or your products because your team members will duplicate this behavior.  And remember that you are being watched and your actions will be replicated throughout your organization. Stay positive and always look to the bright side.

Host private training events Just for your team

Doing this will make your team feel super special and like you are really invested in their success.  When you host these events make sure they’re rank based.  This will encourage others to rank up just to be able to attend the training.

How to Keep Your Pipeline Filled With Network Marketing Leads

One of the keys to success in your home business is keeping your pipeline filled with network marketing leads.  Now that we know this is true, why is it that most network marketers struggle to do this?

Don’t forget the Marketing Side of Network Marketing

When most people join network marketing companies, one of the first things that they tell you to do is to contact all of your friends and family.  They say, “Make a list.” But what happens when you exhaust that list?  What happens when you run out of people to talk to.  Well, this is when you have to teach yourself how to generate your own network marketing leads.

Below you will find some ideas of things that you can do to generate your own leads:

  1. Craft Fairs and Flea Markets – Craft fairs are great places to set up tables and sell products or recruit team members.  However flea markets are a little different. Most flea market attendees are looking for bargain items at bargain prices and product distributed via network marketing is not normally discounted. While you will generate some sales and leads at a flea market, it is not always the best source for generating sales, but could be a great place to find new people.
  1. Vending or Tabling Events – These are events in which you can purchase a table or booth and set up a display of your product for sales or demonstrations (if your company allows this). Some companies allow you to set up vending tables for demonstration only, while others allow you to sell product as Either way, these often provide great ways to generate sales and leads for the business. These events are normally fee- based and can be expensive. The best way to determine if an event is worthwhile for you is to look at the cost per attendee ratio (basically take the cost of the event and divide it by the number of projected attendees).
  1. Facebook Advertising – If you have some information that future prospects would need then you will want to do some FB advertising.  Facebook hates network marketers, which is why you have to be careful and create ads that are generic and not necessarily focused on making money.  You have to ensure that your’re ads conform to FB’s policies before you attempt to advertise with them.

In Network Marketing You Must Start With The End in Mind

In order to achieve network marketing success you must work your business from the back to the front. In other words and you’ve heard it before, you must begin with the end in mind. Take a look at the compensation plan or marketing plan from your company and begin immediately building your business with the top or leading position in mind. Once you begin to understand exactly what the qualifications are you have to work to make it happen.

Network Marketing Success Starts With Understanding the Comp Plan

Understand that when you decide to work your business from the top position down, you have made the first step that would put you on the path to reaching it. There is a saying, and the first time I heard it, I was at leadership training with Gloria Mayfield Banks, a top producing National with Mary Kay and Joanne Barnes, another top producing Mary Kay National and that saying is, “Inherent in the seed of the tree is the tree.” What it means is simply this: Before a tree is planted, it is a seed, but when you plant the seed in the soil, is it not already a large oak tree?

Indeed, it is. Even before it was watered and it bloomed, it was a tree, but in the form of a seed, most people can’t see it as being a large beautiful oak tree that will provide lots of shade. Based on this analogy, isn’t that seed (you) already at the top position of the plan? The answer is Yes. When you decide to go all the way to top, you must begin to act as if you’re already there. You already are who you were meant to be or who you’re going to be. It’s just a matter of you deciding to walk in your destiny.

When you think about it from that perspective, you’re already a National Vice President or Regional Vice President or Sr. RVP  or whatever that top position is in your plan. It  doesn’t matter whether the documentation has caught up with you or not, that shouldn’t stop you from beginning to act like that top performer.

Network Marketing Success Leaves Clues

If there is someone currently at the top position in your network marketing company, begin to model that person. The beauty about this industry is that you do not have to re-invent the wheel, you can just look at the actions of those who have already made it and duplicate their success. And when you duplicate them, you have to duplicate just about everything.

Ask yourself, what kind of car does the top producer drive? What kind of clothes do they wear? How do they speak? What kinds of things do they constantly talk about or promote? Pay close attention to these factors because success leaves clues all over the place and you want to pick up on every clue out there so you can duplicate it.

Copying someone is the highest form of flattery in this world, so trust me when I tell you that if you copy someone in network marketing who has had a tremendous amount of success, you will certainly not create an enemy: what you will create is a tremendous amount of wealth for yourself. It is powerful, but don’t believe what I say, try it for yourself.

My Network Marketing Success Story

My network marketing success story goes something like this:

When I decided to take my network marketing business to another level it felt as if I was beginning a Presidential campaign and I was running for the Oval Office. I knew that the team was ready to advance. I could tell by the energy and excitement in the air. All of the network marketing success key indicators were pointing to signs that it was time for us to move on up.

In my MLM company, getting documented at the top position was no minor feat. It required 75 people to be positioned in the right place, and all must be active with a minimum of $500 in group sales volume. So, when I say that it felt like I was running for president was real because I had to rally all of those people together to achieve success.

Moving Up and Achieving Network Marketing Success

Moving up in most network marketing companies is a team effort and as such it requires the support of the entire team. I began rallying up the troops months before I was ready to move. A group of us decided that we all wanted to move up the plan during the month of October. We sent out a call to action two months in advance and asked all those who wanted to go with us to raise their hands.

The response was amazing. The vision was clear. We had more than enough people on board with plans to go to the next level.  Our strategies were in place to generate sales and to recruit new distributors. We made it fun.

our efforts. By the time October 1st came, we all felt as if the promotions were a done deal. Everyone  had  their plans in action. The minimum amount of volume needed for the month of October in order for the promotion to happen was $72,500, and I knew that if we could generate half of that by the middle of the month, the promotion would definitely happen.

Network Marketing Success Plans in Action

The month began out with a lion’s roar. We worked! By the time of the mid-month checkpoint, we were halfway there. With a huge event planned for Oct. 17th and we were pumped. A huge turnout on that day caused a surge in recruitment, which further adding to our production for the month. But the last day of the month was a nightmare. It was October 31st, Halloween and it felt like it was our election night.

All of the key players were on post standing by the phones and in front of their computers or out signing up people and working to make this promotion happen. At 3:00 PM in the afternoon, I was scared because I didn’t see the numbers move and I was ready to throw in the towel.  However, by the time I took my kids trick-or- treating, the numbers were moving steadily. I felt comfortable leaving the house. I went trick-or-treating and to a Halloween Birthday Party with my kids. They had a good time. When we arrived home later that night, we were only a few orders away from our goal and I knew it was only a matter of time before it was over. By the time the clock struck midnight it was a done deal even though all of the orders were not showing up on my computer system but all of them were accounted for on my spreadsheet. (Yes. I kept a spreadsheet to keep track of it all).

The feeling of victory was better than anyone on the team could have imagined. I personally always wondered what it would feel like to document as a National Vice President. I had dreamed of it when I first joined the company and at that time there weren’t any National Vice Presidents in the company at all. When it officially happened for me, I received flowers from the corporate executive team, gifts from my upline sponsors and so many congratulatory wishes. It was over the top. It felt good. The memory of that Quantum Leap moment will be forever etched in my mind.
